Sadie and the decorations

So I was putting up all the decorations, besides the tree tonight and decided to decorate Sadie instead.  Good thing I could get her to sit still for about 2.5 seconds.

Cold!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so I think the rain is better than below freezing cold.  We took Sadie to the park yesterday where she met a very drooly Irish Setter.  They chased each other around which was cute, except the Setter kept drooling, and the drool kept freezing on Sadie's head.  Other than the bone chilling wind, it was a lovely day!

Glorious Sunshine!

Finally a day of sun!  Of course it was bone chilling cold, and I may have been wearing two toques at the park, but at least it wasn't pouring rain!  Thankfully Sadie seems to have the coat of a seal and seems almost impervious to this weather.  The Cataholua Leopard dog is my mum's glorious dog McGee.  He's one of the most fantastic four legged people I have ever met.

Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, SNOW!

So we've been hitting the dog park a lot with Sadie lately, but it's been absolutely pouring, so no pictures.  But today we had our first walk in the snow.  Sadie was very curious and confused by the white stuff.  Here's a few photos after we got home and I ran out with the camera!

Dog Days of Fall

Fall is winding down here.  Some trees still have spectacular coloured leaves, but a lot of them have none.  And the clocks go back this weekend which will mean winter is on it's way.  Although I love all the holiday, family time that happens in the upcoming months, I hate all the darkness.  Dark mornings, dark afternoons.  I wish I could hibernate during these long dark nights.  This means that a lot of Sadie's walks will be done in the dark so less pictures of her.  Well, I will try to get as many indoor ones as I can, but those are a lot less interesting and fun.  Here's a few from our latest trip to heritage park.

Halloween

Sadie had a fantastic Halloween.  We started the day at heritage park, walking through the beautiful fall leaves.  Then we took Sadie in her adorable bumble bee costume trick or treating with Mallory.  She loved all cuddles and pets she got from kids and parents.  And she got to meet many other dogs out as well.  She was defintely tired towards the end, and slept through the whole night once we got home!
